The Friends of Adams Farm is a group of area residents dedicated to the preservation of Adams Farm. The Adams Farm property includes approximately 365 acres of town-owned land, additional acreage held in adjacent land conservation trusts, and land owned by the New England Forestry Foundation and the Norfolk County Agricultural School, for a total of over 700 acres open to the public for low-impact recreation.
By maintaining the farm in its natural state, the Friends of Adams Farm hope to foster a greater appreciation of the outdoors among local residents and impress upon them the importance of protecting the open spaces we have left for future generations.
New Bridges on the Blue Trail
Two new bridges have been built on the Blue Trail to help hikers over wet spots on the trail. Gary Riggott, chairman of the Trails Committee, designed and built the bridges, with the help of numerous volunteers. Go to News & Events for the story behind these new bridges and photos, too! |
